Microcard is a bank card in micro format that is so small that it can be inserted into bracelets, watch straps, key rings or other types of wearables.

About the microcard

With the microcard, you can pay in all terminals that are prepared for contactless payment. The microcard is connected to your personal debit or credit account and works in the same way as a regular contactless bank card.

This is how it works

To pay contactless, hold the microcard close to the payment terminal. You will hear a beep when the payment has been completed. For amounts under NOK 400, you do not need to enter a PIN code.   

From time to time you will be asked to enter the PIN code in the terminal. This is a security check to check that you are the correct cardholder. This happens when you have reached an amount limit of NOK 600. The same principle also applies abroad, but this may vary from country to country.
