This privacy policy describes how EVRY Card Services AS (EVRY) collects and uses personal data. EVRY follows the applicable privacy legislation as well as the company's policy and procedures regarding the handling of personal data.

The purpose of the information collected is:
  • To be able to provide access to our products and services
  • To be able to send relevant information
  • To be able to make contact and offer our products and services
  • To improve our products, services, usability and website

If you choose not to provide personal information to EVRY, certain functions or services may be unavailable.

Processing may include collection, recording, adjustment, storage, transmission and dissemination or a combination of these. EVRY processes personal data both as processor and controller, as defined in the personal data directive.

What information is collected?

The information we collect is both personally identifiable and non-personally identifiable information about you. Personally identifiable information can identify you as a person. In order to deliver the goods you have ordered, provide you with information and updates related to your order, we need:

  • Address
  • Telephone number
  • E-mail address

We are required to keep this information in connection with accounting, tax handling and any warranty and return handling. EVRY Card Services AS is responsible for processing in accordance with Norwegian law. The Norwegian Data Protection Authority supervises that the law is complied with.

Non-personally identifiable information is information and other information that does not reveal your personal identity. This is information that shows, among other things, how many people visit various pages, how long the visit lasts, search terms, which websites the users come from and which browser is used.

EVRY Card Services AS uses Google Analytics for website measurement. Collected information is used in connection with the operation and further development of our website, as well as Google advertising. None of the information is used to identify individuals.

How is information collected?

You can choose to give EVRY Card Services AS (EVRY) information about yourself in several ways; when visiting or buying in our online store, when creating a customer account or when contacting EVRY customer service.

  • CUSTOMER ACCOUNT REGISTRATION
    To create a customer account with us, you must provide a mobile number, valid e-mail address, name and address. It is not necessary to create a customer account to shop at EVRY, but with a customer account you do not need to enter your personal details the next time you shop with us.
  • EMAIL
    If you send in questions related to your order by e-mail, we register your e-mail address in order to complete your request.
  • INFORMATION COLLECTED USING AUTOMATED TOOLS
    We may use cookies, log files and other technology to collect information about visitors to our website. EVRY does not link this information directly to you as a user.
CLEARANCE

Our checkout solution is provided by Klarna (Klarna AB, Sveavägen 46, 111 34 Stockholm, Sweden) and this uses cookies to offer you the best possible shopping experience.

You can determine the use and extent of cookies in the settings on your computer. You can choose settings on your computer that notify you each time a cookie is used. You can also turn off all use of cookies via your browser. Please note that this is considered a computer setting, and that the settings only apply to the computer on which they are made.

The legal basis for the processing

Consent

EVRY Card Services AS processes personal data in connection with voluntary services such as ordering goods, signing up for newsletters, competitions, etc. The basis for processing in these cases is given after consent from you as a user of our online solution.

Legal obligation

EVRY Card Services AS processes personal data that is necessary to be able to carry out orders, and for reasons of compliance with legal obligations or relevant legislation, such as the Bookkeeping Act and consumer protection legislation.

Legitimate interest

EVRY Card Services AS processes non-identifiable personal information such as behavioral patterns when using the website evrywear.no. This information is used to analyze how our services are used.

About the sharing of personal data / disclosure to third parties

In principle, we do not share personal data with third parties. Exceptions apply to partners associated with the service. This applies to PostNord, Posten Norge and Klarna, who need certain information to be able to deliver services in connection with shipping and payment. The collaboration partners are not allowed to use this information for anything other than performing the agreed services. We will also be able to disclose information in individual cases required by law or by public authority.

The following companies are central when your information is processed:

KLARNA – payment by card/invoice

Protection of information. Klarna reviews and evaluates the information you provide, and may share information with other businesses and credit rating agencies if there is a legitimate interest in this. Your personal data will be processed in accordance with the applicable data protection legislation, as described in Klarna's guidelines for data protection .

PostNord and Posten Norge - dispatch of goods

We use PostNord and Posten Norge as carriers of goods.

Payment by card

Your card number is not stored by us. All card transactions take place externally with authorized providers of payment services. By using their services, you agree to their terms.

How is the information stored/deleted?

If EVRY Card Services AS no longer has grounds to process the personal data that has been collected, this will be deleted. This deletion occurs routinely during an annual review of each individual database.

CUSTOMER ACCOUNTS

We retain customer information as long as the customer account is active or as needed to provide services and comply with our legal obligations. According to mandatory law, the Accounting Act and the Money Laundering Act, personal data must be kept for 5-10 years.

COMPETITIONS AND PROMOTIONS

In the case of competitions on the website, the personal data is stored until the competition has ended, the winner has been drawn and contacted.

CUSTOMER SERVICE

Inquiries by e-mail to our customer service are stored until the case has been processed.

Your rights and our contact information

You have the right to request information about the personal data we hold about you at any time. If the information is incorrect, you can request that the information be corrected or deleted. We cannot delete your information if there is a statutory requirement that it be stored. You can withdraw your consent to us using your information for marketing purposes at any time. If you believe that EVRY Card Services AS has not respected your rights according to the Personal Data Act, you can complain to our data protection officer at privacy@evry.com . You also have the right to complain to the relevant supervisory authority. This is done by sending a complaint to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority.
